Is the roof check and report free?
Yes. The roof check and report cost you nothing. You do not have to hire us. Keep the report or share it. Roughly half the roofs we check do not need a new roof yet. If yours does not, we will say so.
How long does the roof check take?
Most home roof checks take 45 to 90 minutes. A large or steep roof can take more time. Solar panels can add time too. You do not need to be home. If you are home, show us any stains or leaks first.
Do I need to be home for the roof check?
No. We can check the roof from outside. Are you home and have a leak or stain? Show us the spot. It can help us find where the water got in.
Can you check a roof with solar panels?
Yes. Tell us about the panels first. We check the roof near them. If you need a new roof, we plan the panel work with a solar detach and refit partner.
Can I share the report with my insurer?
Yes. You can share the photos and notes with your insurer. You can also share them with another roofer. The report shows what we found. It does not set the value of an insurance claim.
Do I have to buy roof work?
No. We set a time, check the roof, and send the report. If you do not need a new roof, the report will say so. You never have to hire us.
