How we find the roof leak

Water can get in at one spot and show up at another. We check roof joints, valleys, and openings. We also check the roof surface. This helps us find the true leak.

If the roof leaks in a storm, catch the water inside first. Take photos of the stain and any harm. You may need them for an insurance claim. Do not get on a wet roof. You could fall. You could also break roof tile.

One leak spot may only need a repair. A few small spots may be fixed too. Many bad spots can point to a worn roof. We will tell you when a new roof makes more sense.

What can change the cost of a roof repair?

One repair covers one leak spot that we find and fix. More bad spots can change the cost. Hard roof access can change it too. Old tile can be hard to match. Your written quote shows the price.

Can you meet my insurance adjuster?

We take photos and notes on the roof damage. We can meet the adjuster at the site. We do not set or argue the value of your claim. That stays between you and your insurer. You can use our report to show what we found.

What should I do when my roof leaks in a storm?

Do I need to be home for the roof check?

No. The free roof check takes 45 to 90 minutes. If you are home, show us the stain or leak first. We go over the repair and work plan after the check.
